Why we run

The 2018 Run for Recovery raises funds and awareness for people who are recovering from substance use and mental health disorders. Nearly one in twelve people will be impacted by an addiction, yet only 10% will receive treatment. With several ways to participate, everyone can have an impact. Even the smallest donations make a big difference.

At Syracuse Behavioral Healthcare, we believe that recovery should be a possibility for every person who reaches for it. That’s why we offer help at every stage of the recovery process — from interventions to aftercare services.

With your help, we ARE recovering lives!

About the race

This year the Run for Recovery will include both a 5k and 10k certified, competitively timed race and a one-mile kids fun run. All proceeds support the SBH Foundation and Recovering Lives in our community!

This year we’re running the West Shore Trail. Check out the 5k course map and the 10k course map
