A giant thank you to everyone who supported the 2017 Run for Recovery! From runners to sponsors to volunteers, the community support given to this event made it a resounding success. Altogether, you raised more than $38,000 for people recovering from the effects of substance use and mental health disorders and other behavioral health issues. That is nothing short of amazing!

Information about the 2018 Run for Recovery is coming soon. In the meantime, check out our race day photo albums, courtesy of Milner Photographer and Torrent Photography, and sign up for our newsletter to be the first to receive updates about the 2018 event!

Who do you run for?

Every day people in our community are dying from substance use and mental health disorders. One in twelve people will be impacted by an addiction, yet only 10% will receive treatment. The Run for Recovery supports the SBH Foundation and raises funds and awareness for Recovering Lives in Central New York.

At Syracuse Behavioral Healthcare, we believe that recovery should be a possibility for every person who reaches for it. That’s why we help people at every stage of the recovery process – from interventions to aftercare. Learn more about SBH.
