SBH AWARDED HUD FUNDS FOR NEW PROGRAM
SBH is proud to announce its recent funding award from HUD to open a 9 bed facility in Syracuse, NY.
The new program will target chronically homeless persons suffering the affects of substance dependence and mental health issues.
The new program will require the hiring of new staff and renovation of the 720 Hickory Street property to house the new program.
The program will be run by the Supportive Housing division of SBH and will require a significant amount of start up work and renovations, but progress should be evident in late 2006.
